Other issues referred to include: a meeting with [Elizabeth] Everest who has reported that [WSC and John S Churchill] are both well; a meeting with "Natty" [1st Lord Rothschild] and Castlereagh [6th Lord Londonderry]; controversy over the investiture of Lord Milltown and a conversation with "Joe" [Joseph] Chamberlain about Egypt. 12 Feb 1890
CHAR 28/10/3-4 Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (2 Connaught Place [London]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he reports that "'white duck' had smashed up" and speculates that Moreton [Frewen] will be disappointed at the loss of this financial opportunity; describes his social engagements with [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales] and [4th Lord] Dunraven and makes observations on the position of the Government regarding the report of the Parnell Commission.
