Letter from Sir George Murray [Permanent Secretary, Treasury] to Sir Edward Troup [Permanent Under Secretary of State, Home Office] in which he says that King George V and Sir Arthur Bigge [later Lord Stamfordham, Permanent Secretary to the King], have the power to make appointments to the Companion of Imperial Service Order, but that he does not think that Mr Nutt should be given this honour.
