Scope/content:

Letter from Brendan Bracken to WSC, commenting on House of Commons debate on Cabinet responsibility, particularly poor performances by Stanley Baldwin, Sir Donald Maclean and George Lansbury, and a "star turn" by Lord Winterton, also on implications of currency hoarding in the United States, and the "secret" plan to present WSC with a car on his return to Britain, which had been discovered by some American newspapers, confirming that the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, and Duke of Windsor) was associated with the gift but wished his part to be kept completely secret.
